At Damn Good Massage We love massage therapy because it relaxes our nervous system and promotes our natural ability to keep centered on how good, and connected, we feel! We believe that life should feel good. Like, really, really good.
We also believe that we life-livers are perfect and evolving physical manifestations of source energy, and that we expand what life can be just by existing and experiencing. So whether you're recovering from a marathon, celebrating a special day, or just need a break from it all, DGM is a place to just be, feel, and expand. To us, having a workplace that feels really good looks like each LMT setting their own schedule and bringing their own unique style, working personally with clients as part of a community! We also know that this business exists in the context of a living breathing city, which is why our community involvement looks like food security and youth literacy tutoring. |
Note from the owner:
There once was a silly goose named Kathryn Bilyeu. Katt grew up in central Oklahoma, also known as Tornado-land. Luckily she didn't blow away while she was there, and went on to survive the Texas heat for most of her childhood until she and her family moved to greener pastures in beautiful, glorious, sunny Colorado in 2013. You see, Katt loves learning, and finding out how things work. Most of all, she loves relaxation. She loves relaxation and self-improvement sooOOOO much that she dreamed of finishing her science associate to learn more about the amazing complex structure of human beans. She filled her noggin with science, human bean anatomy, and graduated from CCD with a degree in Science in 2016. She worked hard, and used her brain to tutor high school students and brighten up various retail establishments until she saved enough money to study massage at US Career Institute in 2018. After becoming an LMT she then poured gasoline on the fire of her passion by graduating from the exemplary Clinical Rehabilitative Massage program at the Academy of Clinical Massage. Thus, Damn Good Massage was born. Since then, Katt has gone on to become a certified Wellness Counselor through Cornell University, is a proud graduate of the 5-year Integrative Healthcare program at MSU Denver, and has taught Anatomy and Physiology at MSU Denver for over 2 years. Amid all this, her proudest accomplishments are manifesting the most amazing life and colleagues she could ever imagine in her wildest dreams, offering a food donation discount to donate over 4,683 pounds of food (and counting) to Metro Caring food bank, and being a 9-year (and counting) volunteer with Reading Partners; a life-changing organization dedicated to childrens' literacy. And guess what, THE SAME Katt we just told you about runs Damn Good Massage! She's actually here! She's here and she wants YOU to come get a massage so you can fill your life with pure magnificent relaxation and spread it to others like a big community hug of gratitude. |
